Acknowledgement of Country

In the spirit of reconciliation QueersInScience acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all First Nations, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. We also extend a special acknowledgement to LGBTQIA+ people among them.

A History of Queerness in STEMM – A QueersInScience Research Project

QueersInScience received Theo Murphy Initiative funding from the Australian Academy of Science to undertake a research project identifying and celebrating historical Australian LGBTQIA+ voices in STEMM. We demonstrate the significant impacts that our community has had on scientific advancements. See our work here!
